Three works won an award!

I was delighted to attend the Suffolk Art League 2024 Annual Juried Exhibition opening on October 26, 2024. The juror, Elsabé J. Dixon, curated one of the most high-quality, well-rounded, and inspiring shows I’ve seen. The event space (The Suffolk Art Gallery) is a large, light-filled space, and the organization did such a lovely job with the opening, from a guitarist setting the mood to delicious catered food to the friendly people (including staff members, artists, board members, and art supporters). I had such a good time!

To top it all off, I was honored to learn that my three pieces were given the Betty & Sam Glasscock Memorial Award by the juror. I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Dixon at the opening and she was so gracious and encouraging.
